Simply sew great bags! - Cutting Corners Design is a modern pattern label for bags

and accessories from Switzerland. We place great emphasis on beautiful, easy-to-understand instructions, as well as extensive testing of all patterns, so even beginners have no questions left unanswered.

As a passionate seamstress and woman with a passion for bags, all ideas are tested in advance for their suitability and practicality and then perfected with you through test sewing.

That's me:

Mom, coach, cat lover, and over 40 – I’m Sarah, a bag-sewing addict, creative, and the face behind Cutting Corners Design.

I sewed my first bag myself as a beginner sewer—and I still wear it today! After years of learning curves, sample sewing, and selling bags and children's clothing, I started developing my own patterns in 2022.

▶ My instructions: easy to understand, with a fun factor – for beginners and professionals alike.
